I would like to know if Co-Authoring is possible with the Free version of Core? If not, which versions can?

What are the requirements for Co-Authoring, that is to share and edit the same document with internal & external users ?

Thank you.

Kind regards,

  • Hi Nuno,

Co-authoring via Microsoft Office Online/Office 365 is possible with the Enterprise tier of OpenText Core. You can sign up for a free 90-day trial. Just be sure to click Business when signing up for your account or, if you already have an account, visit your profile and then select "Account" -- you will see a series of options, including "Enterprise Free Trial - 3 Months" -- just click that and you will be able to use all features of that tier.

Please Note: If you have personal or business files in your account, you will need to download/copy/sync those to your desktop - otherwise they will be locked at the end of your 90-day trial.
